Anthony brings a wealth of experience in leading and scaling technology-driven companies, with a strong background in strategy, innovation, and commercialization. His guidance will be instrumental as CellSense continues to expand its global presence and deliver cutting-edge solutions to our partners and customers. Anthony Finbow is often described as a visionary leader with fire in the belly. His unique cross-disciplinary experience and education, coupled with his leadership skills, enable him to catalyze moonshot innovation. He has a background in signal processing, cybernetics, and control engineering, and has direct experience in venture capital as a leader in the fields of electro-optics and network technologies. He has most recently stepped into the field of nanotechnology, working in bio-atomic force microscopy (BioAFM), advanced microscopy and optical tweezers. Subsequently, he contributed to multi-omics software development for exploring host-microbiome interactions.
His next project is developing scientific conjectures for future medicines and bio-inspired AI. He has an impressive track record of successfully building and exiting technology and TechBio businesses, with three exits to US Nasdaq-listed buyers, and has extensive experience of building interdisciplinary teams to achieve moonshot project development goals in the adjacent microbiome field. He is a faculty member of the Guy Foundation for Quantum Biology and a mentor for Founders at the University of Cambridge, the Francis Crick Institute’s KQ Labs, the Sanger Institute, and Panacea Stars. Anthony is also a Venture Partner at Pace Ventures.
